Ideas of masked and altered identities have always been of interest to me. I decided to create wire armatures of various masks inspired by automatic drawings done in my sketchbook. Working with wire feels akin to sculptural drawing, and the way that the line is creating both two and three-dimensional renderings of negative space is something I find very compelling.
